International Day

On Friday evening, we participated in an International Fair with 4 other families in our support group. Although we were small in number, it was still a worthwhile and enjoyable activity to be part of and I'm glad I decided to sign us up! Each family chose a country to learn about and create a display for. We also brought food representing our country for a potluck supper.
We chose Ethiopia for a couple of reasons. First, my daughter Sarah is traveling there for a month this summer to work with orphaned and destitute children. Second, we know several families who have adopted children from Ethiopia, and figured we could borrow some cool stuff for our display table!
