I haven't done a good job of keeping up with this blog lately. We've had more snow, lots of basketball, art classes, geography club, Prom meetings. But today's BIG THING is that Alex is home. He returned from Iraq almost 2 weeks ago and has been getting settled back in Texas, but today he flew HOME. I picked him up at the airport this afternoon and he is staying for 10 days. It is sooooo good to have him here where I can talk to him and see his face and hug him. Sarah and Eric are both coming home from college this weekend, and I will once more have all 5 of my kids under this roof!
I'll be savoring these moments, because they are fleeting and will all too soon disappear.
